Description
Exchange Server 2019 Standard as a used volume license. The server license covers the installation; every person or device accessing it additionally needs a client access license.
End of support - what it means
Extended support ended on October 14, 2025. Security updates have not been issued since then. The right of use remains unlimited in time, so operation is still permitted. For a mail server that is reachable from the internet, however, running without security updates is a knowingly accepted risk - we tell you this openly instead of selling you a license that worsens your situation. This version remains sensible where an Exchange server runs purely internally as a handover point, or where a migration is already scheduled and has to be bridged.
Standard or Enterprise
Standard allows up to five mailbox databases per server, Enterprise up to one hundred. Functionally both editions are identical; the difference lies solely in this limit. For most organizations, Standard is enough.

Is this license technically identical to a new one?
Yes. It is the same software with the same features and the same updates, for as long as the version is in support. The difference lies solely in how it was acquired, not in the product.
Which documents do I receive?
The license agreement in your company's name, the transfer declaration covering your quantity, the previous owner's deletion confirmation and evidence of the chain of title. These documents are part of the delivery and cost nothing extra.
What happens if the quantity I need is unavailable?
Then we tell you before you start planning. The shortfall can often be sourced at short notice; where that is not realistic, we suggest an alternative or advise against it. We do not make commitments we cannot keep.
Do I need additional client access licenses (CALs)?
For server products, usually yes; for desktop software, no. What applies in this case is shown in the license details above. Tell us the number of users or devices and we will work out the requirement with you.
