Extended support ended on July 14, 2026. Security updates have no longer been available since then; the right of use remains valid without time limit. For isolated systems or specialist applications that are tied to this version, continued operation remains a sound solution. For systems connected to the network, we recommend switching to 2019 or 2022.
What Enterprise offers compared to Standard
No limits on cores and memory, plus availability groups with several replicas, online index operations, partitioning, data compression and encryption of data at rest. With full host licensing, you may run an unlimited number of virtual instances.

What happens if the quantity I need is unavailable?
