Description
Microsoft Visio 2019 Professional as a used volume license. In addition to the Standard edition, it includes templates for formal process notations, database and software diagrams, and the connection of diagrams to data sources.
When Professional is needed
When modeling follows a standard notation, for example in the process documentation of a quality management system, or when diagrams are meant to draw their values from a data source. For simply drawing workflows, Standard is enough.
Who this version still makes sense for
Support ended on October 14, 2025. It remains useful for existing documentation tied to this version. Otherwise we recommend Visio 2024.
